Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how FinIA (finiaerp.com) ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FinIA Conciliación bank reconciliation platform (the "Service").

• Account information: name, email, organization details, and authentication identifiers.
• Uploaded files and transaction data: files you upload (e.g. bank statements, accounting exports), parsed rows, reconciliation results, and related metadata needed to operate the Service.
• Usage and technical data: IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, diagnostics, and security logs to protect accounts and improve reliability.
• Billing data: purchases are handled by Polar, our Merchant of Record — Polar is the seller of record for credit pack purchases, issues the receipt/invoice, charges your payment method, and remits applicable taxes. We typically receive limited billing identifiers (e.g. customer id, order id, product id, order status), not full card numbers.

We use data to:

• Provide reconciliation, parsing, matching, and export features you request.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot the Service.
• Communicate about the product, billing, and support (you may opt out of marketing where applicable).
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

• Polar, acting as Merchant of Record, for payments and credit purchases. Polar is the legal seller for these transactions, handles checkout, charges, refunds, and tax collection/remittance; Polar's privacy notice applies to the payment data they process.
• Google (or similar) for authentication when you choose "Sign in with Google"; Google's policies govern the data they collect during sign-in.
• Infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, logging) that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal and financial data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage strong passwords and safeguarding API keys or integrations you configure.

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. After account deletion, we may retain certain records for a limited period where the law requires or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. backups rolling off on a schedule).

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at contacto@finiaerp.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

If you access the Service from outside the country where our servers or subprocessors operate, your data may be transferred and processed in other jurisdictions. We use appropriate safeguards where required.

We use cookies and similar technologies for session management, security, preferences (e.g. theme), and analytics where enabled. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

When you arrive on the site, we store in your browser's local storage (localStorage, first-party; it is not a cookie) information about where your visit came from: utm_* parameters, the ref code, the gclid or fbclid identifiers if present, the first page visited and the referring site without its query parameters. We use it to learn which channels bring us new users. This information expires after 90 days, is not overwritten by later visits and is only sent to us if you create an account. We do not use third-party cookies or advertising pixels.

The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version and revise the "Last updated" date. Where required, we will obtain consent or provide additional notice.
