Terms of Service
Last updated: September 26, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the bank reconciliation platform and related services (the "Service") offered by FinIA (finiaerp.com) ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
FinIA Conciliación provides tools to upload financial files, parse transactions, run reconciliation workflows, and review matches. Features may change as we improve the product. We do not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice; the Service is software only.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
4. Credits-based billing
Certain actions may consume credits, purchased as one-time packs through Polar, our Merchant of Record. Polar is the seller of record for these purchases: it operates checkout, charges your payment method, issues the receipt/invoice, and collects and remits applicable taxes for the transaction. Credit balances and pricing are displayed at checkout or in your account. Purchased credits do not expire. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. File uploads and data processing
You may upload files (e.g. CSV, Excel) and related data for processing within the Service. You represent that you have the rights and authority to upload and process that data. You must not upload unlawful content, malware, or data you are not authorized to use.
6. Financial data disclaimer
The Service helps organize and match data; outputs are not a substitute for professional judgment, audits, or regulatory filings. You remain solely responsible for decisions made using the Service, including verifying amounts, counterparties, and regulatory compliance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for errors, omissions, or losses arising from financial data, reconciliation results, or your reliance on them.
7. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription or active account, subject to these Terms.
8. Acceptable use
You will not misuse the Service (including probing, scraping, overloading systems, reverse engineering except where mandatory law allows, or circumventing billing). We may rate-limit or block abusive usage.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, legal requirements, or extended inactivity as described in our policies. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, liability limits) will survive termination.
10. Data retention
Retention of uploaded files, reconciliation artifacts, and logs is described in our Privacy Policy. After account closure, we may delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period unless we must retain it for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FinIA (finiaerp.com) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in that period or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100), except where liability cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may require additional notice where required by law.
